Will RankPilot get my site to #1 on Google?
No tool can guarantee rankings. RankPilot diagnoses technical problems, tracks performance and helps you apply improvements. Rankings depend on content quality, competition, links and many factors outside our control.
How does the crawler treat my website?
It identifies itself as RankPilotBot, follows robots.txt, waits between requests (your configured delay or the site's Crawl-delay, whichever is longer), stays on your hostname and stops at your plan's page limit. It never executes JavaScript or submits forms.
Why do I need to verify my domain?
Verification proves you control the website before RankPilot can write to it through a CMS or enable automatic fixes. Unverified sites can still be audited with a reduced page limit.
Which fixes can RankPilot apply?
SEO titles, meta descriptions and canonical URLs on WordPress (with Yoast SEO or Rank Math and the free RankPilot Connector plugin), image alt text on WordPress and Shopify, and product, collection and page SEO fields on Shopify. Problems like server errors, slow hosting or theme markup need manual work, and we label them that way.
Can a fix break my site?
Every change is shown before you approve it, the previous value is saved, and you can roll back from the Fixes page. Changes are limited to SEO metadata — RankPilot does not edit theme files or server configuration.
Where does ranking data come from?
From a licensed SERP data provider configured by your RankPilot operator. If no provider is configured, rank tracking shows "integration required" — we never generate placeholder rankings or scrape search engines.
Is the AI writing my content?
AI suggestions are drafts based on your crawl and Search Console data, clearly labelled as hypotheses. Nothing AI-generated is published to your website without your review and approval.
Is "real-time monitoring" included?
Monitoring runs on schedules (daily, weekly or monthly, depending on your plan). It is periodic scanning, not real-time detection.
How are payments handled?
Through Razorpay's secure checkout. Your paid plan activates only after Razorpay confirms the payment to our server. We never store card numbers or CVV.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. From Security & data you can download a JSON export, and delete your account. Billing records we are legally required to keep are retained without your personal profile.
